Dolce & Gabbana Nail Lacquer Fuchsia

The more you delve into D&G cosmetics, the more you realise that their collection contains some quite unique, vibrant colours. Their nail range seems to encapsulate many complex shades, one that caught my eye was the shade called Fuchsia (£17).
The shade is not as per the name, instead its a bright pinky coral with a high iridescence and shimmer to it.

I use 3 coats to get required coverage, dry down is average and it wears well with minimal chipping and no loss of colour vibrancy.
There is quite a lot more from the D&G cosmetic line I would like to try, I do think the brand loses potential sales in the UK having only one online distributor, further compounded by not having a lot of the shades available.

I bought this from Harrods online

  1. Gorgeous! It really reminds me of Misa Bojangles. Same family I think. http://www.ladyofthelane.com/2010/06/notd-misa-bojangles-its-stunner.html

  2. Love this combination of tones on you, it looks gorgeous. I really love D&G nail polishes, they're excellent quality and like you've said the shades are interesting. There is a swampy green one I think I'd like next.

  3. That is beautiful! The nail polishes are one thing that has always tempted me from the range. The shimmer in the coral makes it quite unique.

If I spot the Estee LE cream on my travels I will let you know/pick one up. I won't be going in to London as planned but I intend to find some browsing time all the same ;)

  8. What a funny name. Maybe they hired one of Bobbi Brown's staff. ;) The color looks very pretty against your skin tone.

  9. Hi Charlie,
Thats a really pretty colour, similar although your one looks more warm/coppery, I'm sure we could get away with having both ;)

    Hi Meeta,
There are quite a few more shades I'd like, I'll have to do a search for the swampy green one now as you have intrigued me ;)

    Hi Jane,
I've no doubt you could find quite a few shades you like in their line up.
Thanks for doing a look out for LE Estee Lauder, I'm sure I'll force myself to have another look at the counters next week, I'm wondering if that Chanel Lumières Byzantines de Chanel Palette will be out next week as well, looks really tempting x

    Hi Vintage Makeup,
I do probably tend towards 2/3 coats for the majority of my polishes, this would probably give a nice effect with one coat applied over another shade as well :)

    Hi Jeanie,
Thanks :) I did wonder if this would look really wrong against my skintone at first but I do like it, its a very cheerful type of shade x

    Hi Joolz,
This would make a lovely lip colour, I wonder if there is something out there like it, will have to keep a look out ;)

    Hi productdoctor,
Its quite a unique shade I think, I keep meaning to try their lip glosses, actually there is a lot more from their line I want to try when I think about it, I've heard great things about their blushers :)
